Welcome to my world of Art. I hope that you find something of interest here for you.

The lessons start with bare-bone basics for those who are not very familiar with oil painting, and act as reminders to some who are. It is best to read them one at a time in sequence. Eventually I will be including water color lessons as well, but the information pertaining to oil painting also applies to many other forms of fine art.

Lesson one is simply my “speech” to new students … an important part of the learning process, in my estimation. Take it to heart and it will make your progress much easier.

I recommend using other venues to learn and to check different ones against each other. Why not have all the information that is out there? If one teacher is good, many can be better … just don’t allow yourself to get confused.

The first step in our adventure is to simply go now to lesson one … you don’t need any supplies for this one!
